question of the day

I am now on my 10th month of growing my hair out...such a slow and painful process.

This begs the question: Why can't my head hair grow as fast as my leg hair?

I once wondered the same thing about my face. Why does my facial hair grow so fast and my head hair so slow? Well, then I shaved my head and my face at the same time and discovered they actually grow at about the same rate. I guess it just seems faster because it only has to grow a tenth of an inch on my face (or your legs) to be noticeable whereas on the head a tenth of an inch would go undetected. That is all I have to say about that.

Good question! And I must say that Scott's facial hair grows faster than his head hair. Not sure about his leg hair...

How do you know that your head-hair grows slower than your leg hair? I think this calls for an experiment. You should measure your hair length, and shave your legs. Then go 10 months without shaving or cutting your hair. Measure at the end of 10 months, and see which one indeed grew quicker.

I think your head hair will grow faster.
